Charles Eixman

Charles Wayne Eixman, age 77, of Lott, Texas died at William R. Courtney Veteran’s Home in Temple, Texas on Jan. 12, 2017.

Charles was born on March 21, 1939 to Leola Eixman in Cyclone, Texas and raised by his grandmother, Frieda Eixman, in Lott, Texas.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961 with most of his time being stationed in Germany. He was a Lutheran.

Charles lived in Lott, Texas until he joined the Army. He spent all of his professional years in Houston with International Harvester before retiring in Lott.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother – Frieda Eixman and his mother Leola White.

He is survived by 2 sons and their wives – Alan Wayne and Christa Eixman, and Steven Doyle and Gina Eixman all of Bellaire, Texas, 6 grandchildren – Cole, Olivia, Cade, Will, Beau and Lila.

Funeral Services will be held at Hewett- Arney Funeral Home in Temple, Texas on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 11:15AM. A visitation will start at 10:45AM and the burial will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas at 1:00PM.
