Rosebud-Lott answered by scoring a run in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 2-1. The Eagles led 4-1 going into the bottom of the fourth inning, then the Cougars mounted a comeback to tie the game at 4.

The scoring in the inning began when Carson Layne tallied a run on a wild pitch. That was soon followed by an RBI line drive single to left field by Matt Lopez, then an RBI fielder’s choice groundout from Rolando Leon.

The Cougars then found themselves trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, but they stayed composed and rallied back in the final inning for the walkoff win 7-6.

The comeback started when Rawling Barton brought home a run on a sacrifice fly to close the gap to 6-5. Pryce Rabroker was the hero of the game, smashing a line drive double to center field, scoring two runs for the thrilling walkoff win. The Cougars had a well rounded game on offense, collecting seven hits and four stolen bases in the game.
