Lady Cougars destroy Chilton

The Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars softball team traveled to Marlin onTuesday to take on the Chilton Lady Pirates. The Lady Cougars destroyed Chilton 21-3 in three innings due to the 15 run rule. 

The Rosebud-Lott offense was on fire, scoring nine runs in the first inning, nine runs in the second inning, and three runs in the third inning to activate the 15 run rule. On Friday, the Lady Cougars hosted the Granger Lady Lions in their regular season finale. 

Rosebud-Lott fell to Granger 9-2. The Lady Cougars found themselves down 9-0 and were unable to catch up. Rosebud-Lott scored two runs in the sixth inning, but it would not be enough and they would lose 9-2. 

With that loss, the Lady Cougars finished the season with an overall record of 9-16 and a district record of 5-11 and will miss the playoffs.
