Lady Cougars fiinish in fourth place in Cameron Tournament

The weekend of Dec. 7-9, the Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars basketball team participated in an in-season tournament hosted by Cameron. 

The Lady Cougars finished with a record of 2-2 and finished in fourth place. 

Rosebud-Lott played one game on Thursday against the Bartlett Lassies. The Lady Cougars handily defeated Bartlett 40-27. Rosebud-Lott played one game on Friday in a match against the Travis Lady Rebels, where they defeated Travis 45-26. 

With these two wins, the Lady Cougars moved into the championship bracket. 

On Saturday, they took on the Stephenville Honeybees in the semifinals and were defeated. The Lady Cougars took on the Valley Mills Lady Eagles for third place, and they fell to Valley Mills to finish in fourth place. 

After a road game with the Bruceville-Eddy Lady Eagles on Tuesday for their district opener, the Lady Eagles will host the Chilton Lady Pirates for their distinct home opener. 

The game will be on Friday, Dec. 15, and tip off is set for 6:30 p.m.
