Lady Cougars kick off season in Cameron Tournament

The Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars volleyball team traveled to Cameron to play in their in season tournament over the weekend. They finished the tournament going 3-4. 

The Lady Cougars played three games on Thursday, the first game was against the Granger Lady Lions. Rosebud-Lott was victorious, winning 2-1. They won the first set 25-21, lost the second set 25-18, then won the third set 25-23. Their second game was against the Mumford Lady Mustangs. They were shut out by Mumford 2-0, losing the first set 25-14 and the second set 25-22. Their final game of the day was against the Milano Lady Eagles, and they shut out Milano 2-0, winning the first set 27-25 and the second set 25-17.

Rosebud-Lott played four games on Saturday. The first game was the Milano Lady Eagles, and they shut out Milano 2-0, winning the first set 25-21 and the second set 26-24. Their second game was against the Thrall Tigresttes and were shut out 2-0, losing the first set 25-15 and the second set 25-20. 

Up next, they took on the Mumford Lady Mustangs and were shut out 2-0, losing the first and the second set 25-18. Their final game of the day came against the Rogers Lady Eagles and they were shut out 2-0, losing the first set 25-20 and the second set 25-21.

After a home matchup with Lady Lions of Central Texas Christian on Tuesday, the Lady Cougars will be hosting an in season tournament. Details regarding their games and game times are yet to be announced.
