Falls County Volunteer Fire Department Association honors First Responders

The Falls County Volunteer Firefighter Association held a First Responders Appreciation dinner on Feb 4. This is the second year that the dinner has gone on.

The purpose is to recognize the many individuals within Falls County that make it their business to take immediate action when disaster strikes. The event began with a presentation that encompassed photos of all of the departments in their natural habitats - out in the community, serving and protecting.

The presentation also honored three late members, Deputy Sheriff Matt Jones, Chilton Volunteer Fire Department member James “Jim” Pfrommer, and Marlin Police Chief Nathan Sodek, whom all all passed in 2019.
