Cougars prevail in treacherous territory

Last Friday night, September 7, the smell of a rivalry was thick in the air, as the Rosebud-Lott Cougars travelled down 77, for their week two game against the Chilton Pirates at Featherston Field. All the way through the first quarter, both teams defenses managed to shut down the opposing offenses with considerable ease,

Chilton even managed to force a few fumbles early on, but still was not able to capitalize with a score. Going into the second quarter, the Cougars knew that they were going to have to kick up the intensity against the younger and less experienced Pirates. It was at that point that the game slowly slipped away from Chilton, leading to a final score of 28-0, in RLISD’s favor
