Salute to WWII veterans who died in action

The Westphalia Historical Society saluted the seven veterans from the local area who died in action during World War II on Sunday, Nov. 7, at The Church of the Visitation. Those honored were PFC Walter B. Heese, Sgt. Erving J. Hoelscher, Lt. Arthur Lee Greger, Cpl. Gilbert M. Lehman, Lt. Elmer L. Brod, PFC Leander “Dick” Hoelscher, and PFC Bernard A. Greger. Their family members were on hand to honor them.
