Santa Brings Smiles to Rosebud:
Holiday cheer filled the air Saturday morning as nearly 100 children and their families gathered at the Highway 77 Café for Rosebud’s annual Pictures with Santa event, held from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. What began as a simple opportunity for photos quickly became a heartwarming community celebration that left smiles on every face.
Children of all ages enjoyed personal time with Santa Claus, sharing wishes, laughter, and unforgettable moments—each child leaving with a special gift to remember the day. Despite damp winter weather, spirits stayed bright thanks to a large tent set up to keep families dry, warm, and comfortable throughout the morning.
The event was made possible through the strong partnership of the City of Rosebud, Rosebud City Hall, the Rosebud Police Department, the Falls County Sheriff’s Office and deputies, and the Rosebud Fire Department. A fire truck on site added excitement and awe for young attendees, making the experience even more magical.
Parents and grandparents captured countless memorable photos as children posed with Santa, first responders, and festive displays. Laughter, gratitude, and a sense of togetherness filled the café grounds as neighbors visited and families shared in the joy of the season.
By the end of the morning, one thing was clear: everyone left happy. The event stood as a beautiful reminder of what makes Rosebud special— community, generosity, and the shared joy of creating lasting memories for our children during the Christmas season.
