The Stars Over Texas Jamboree

6 p.m. – The Stars Over Texas Jamboree celebrates fifteen years and 160 performances.

Featured artists include a pre-show by Johnnie Bradshaw singing Jim Reeves, and special guests Rick Titus singing George Strait, Kenneth Elliott as Elvis and the Bearded Treble Makers gospel trio. The regular band and cast will also be there. Located at Lee Lockwood Library and Museum, 2801 W. Waco Dr., Waco. Tickets can be purchased day-of at the event or they can be purchased early on eventbrite. com or in person at the library. Pre-show begins at 6:45 p.m.

Wildlife Management Program - 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – McLennan County Extension Office 4224 Cobbs Drive, Waco. The cost is $25, Breakfast & lunch included.

Saturday, Sept. 20

Ronald Reagan Spirit Day- The Falls County Republican Party will host its annual Ronald Reagan Spirit Day in Marlin. The guest speaker will be author and Republican advocate Karen Watson. The event will also honor retiring State Sen. Brian Birdwell, R-Granbury, for his years of service. Dinner, door prizes, and sponsorship opportunities will be available. A table for eight is $450. Bell County Senior Expo. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – The 15th Annual Bell County Senior Expo will be held at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton. It’s free for all senior citizens, anyone who loves a senior, and anyone who aspires to be a senior one day. There will be 250 booths of resources that you didn’t even know were available! There will be speakers, entertainers, and $10,000 worth of door prizes, including a 5-day cruise. Get your free tickets at Bell-CountySeniorExpo2025. Eventbrite.com. This year, they will be celebrating 250 years of the Army, Marines & Navy’s Courage & Sacrifice. Vendors will have military-themed booths & costumes, and no selling is allowed. Marlin’s National Night Out. 6 to 9 p.m. – The Marlin Police Department presents Marlin’s National Night Out at the Fall’s County Youth Fair Pavilion, 319 Willis St. Food, games, giveaways, obstacle course, bounce houses, music, and trunk or treat.
