Cheer squads picked for next year’s high school, middle school

In a process that takes several weeks, Rosebud-Lott High School and Middle School now has their 2018-2019 cheer squads.
Dating back to late February, senior Captains Kennedy Doskocil and Shelby Coker began teaching candidates material they would be using to try out for the squads.
On the day of tryouts, Saturday, March 10, three cheerleaders from University of Mary Hardin Baylor watched on as candidates gave their performances. They also judged the candidates based on the given criteria from the coaches. For each squad, only about 11 made it through the final tryouts, with all 11 making the squad.
