Community efforts needed to beautify Rosebud

There are multiple opportunities to beautify the City of Rosebud coming up during November, starting with a city-wide event.

The City of Rosebud is sponsoring a city-wide cleanup opportunity on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. (or until dumpsters are full.) Dumpsters will be placed for public use at County Road 351, Rosebud. Batteries, Appliances, Brush, and Leaves (bagged leaves will be emptied,) will be accepted, but no chemicals, hazardous waste, tires, or roofing materials will be taken.

Due to Rosebud’s annual 100+ Garage Sale on the first Saturday of November, the monthly Bulk trash day will be moved to Saturday, Nov. 21. 

Please follow the directions bulk Services: 1) Call City Hall and put your name on the list before 2 p.m. Friday. 2) State your service address. 3) Place trash out on Friday. 4) Place the BULK trash in the same location as your weekly trash. **Bundle and tie OR bag loose trash when possible. Each bundle must fit in the back of a trash truck and weigh under 50 lbs. Note: This service is provided by Waste connections and they will not pick up hazardous materials or electronics. 

The Brush pile will be open that day as well from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. It is located at County Road 351, Rosebud. Brush, such as limbs, leaves, trees, etc will be the only items accepted.
