County resident receives scholarship

As a member of 4-H, Shellby Coker of Rosebud-Lott High School recently received a scholarship in the amountof $1,000.00 from the Blacklands Growth Income Program.

There are twelve scholarships in total that were handed out to deserving students who are members of 4-H, including ten $1,000.00 scholarships and two $1,500.00 scholarships awarded to applicants planning to study agribusiness.
