DPS Office opens doors in Courthouse

The grand opening of the DPS office in Marlin was held November 30, at 10:00A.M. Local officials as well as citizens of Falls County attended the ceremony at the new DPS office located on the first floor of the Falls County Courthouse building.

In 2001 there was a DPS office located in Marlin, and now 15 years later, the office reopens. Business hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. With a lunch break from 12:00-1:30P.M. The last walk in to process is at 3:30 P.M. Driving tests will be daily from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The phone number to the office is 254-804-0104, all calls will be answered in Austin and your call will be routed to the correct department. When coming into the office 3 forms of identification are required. If you are a minor you may bring a high school transcript or immunization record as a form of ID. You will also be required to bring two supporting documents, such as utility bill, bank statement, etc. Supporting documents must be current.
