Local VFD fundraising for repairs

The Reagan Volunteer Fire Department will be selling brisket plates on Saturday, Dec. 12. The organization, which is a very small group with limited funds, recently received a grant for a new brush truck.

“We are very appreciative but are needing help housing it,” says the department’s Facebook page. “Our building is needing many repairs/added cover for the truck.” 

An anonymous supporter has donated many briskets and sides to help with the effort to make this happen.

There will be the option of a plate of brisket with two sides and a dessert for $12 or by the pound, also $12. There are options available for pickup in Marlin or delivery.
