Lott City Council Approves Candidate to Board of Directors

During Monday’s City Council meeting the city of Lott approved resident Rick Moupin to try out for the position to serve on the Board of Directors of Central Texas Water Supply Corporation. They are willing to let him try it out to see if it is good for him. He will be expected to do his job correctly and efficiently, taking good notes, and knowing exactly what is going on with the water supply. He will also be expected to come to the annual monthly meetings and present water and sewer reports to the council.

There will be an increase in the cities water rate as of January 2017. The council has tabled this discussion until next months meeting to better decide how they will handle the increased rate.
