These funds will go to 10 local mental

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission announced it is awarding up to $6.6 million in 2019 to the state’s Mental Health Grant Program for Justice-Involved Individuals.

These funds will go to 10 local mental health centers to establish, continue, or expand programs to help those in rural communities receive services, support needed outside of the criminal justice system, and cut time for admittance to a state hospital.
