Texas Convention of States Hosts Precinct Chair Training in Marlin

The Convention of States Action - Texas is organizing a comprehensive Precinct Chair Training session on October 4, 2025, at the Marlin Senior Civic Center, located at 104 Hays St, Marlin, TX 76661. The training will be led by Troy Jackson, and is designed for current Precinct Chairs, volunteers, and individuals interested in taking on a leadership role within their local precinct.

Running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m., the training aims to equip attendees with the tools and knowledge necessary to make an impact within their communities. Topics covered will include: Understanding the role of a Precinct Chair Navigating the political structure Building effective networking opportunities Utilizing the power of the political database

Participants will not only gain strategic insight into grassroots organization, but also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals working toward similar goals.

A light breakfast will be served, and lunch will be provided.
