(8 a.m. to 12 p.m.) Falls County Free Trash Day will be held at two locations: the Falls County Jail Site (2847 Hwy. 6, Marlin) and the Waste Collection Station (330 S. Hwy. 77, Lott). The event is open to Falls County residents until dumpsters are full. Batteries, appliances, and brush (no larger than 3” in diameter) will be accepted. Tire disposal is available (residents must unload), but no tractor tires, tires with rims, or commercial tires are permitted. No chemicals, hazardous waste, or roofing materials will be accepted.
(2 p.m.) The St. Paul Community Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at the St. Paul Church parsonage, 212 FM 2307, Marlin. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, please call 254-931-7433.

(2 p.m.) The Marlin Missionary First Baptist Church will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Pastor Vincent K. (12 p.m.) The Sterling C. Robertson Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet at the Mayborn Museum-On the grounds of Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village, 1300 South University Dr. Waco.
This is an end-of-year picnic and meeting where members are asked to bring their favorite dish and recipe. Our monthly program will be Republic of Texas in Texarkana with speaker, Matt Solomon of Texarkana Historic Preservation.
