Lady Cougars send Holland hollerin’

The Mooreville United Methodist Church congregation held a dinner Saturday, March 2, to recognize firefighters and their families of the Bruceville-Eddy, Chilton, Marlin, Lott, Golinda, Rosebud and Lorena Volunteer Fire Departments.

Their response was greatly appreciated Feb. 7 when the sanctuary of Mooreville UMC burned despite the valiant efforts of first-responders. The fire cause has been officially deemed “undetermined. “

Although the church building could not be saved the congregation wanted the firefighters to know they did wonderful job of saving our fellowship hall, where services continue to be held until a new building can be built.
