CHICKEN FAJITA DINNER
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marlin will host a chicken fajita dinner on Sunday, Sept. 10, serving from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dine in and to go plates - chicken fajitas, rice, beans, pico, tortillas and cake for $13 a plate. Raffle tickets available for $1 each or six for $5. There will also be a bake sale going on. The church is located at 311 Oaks Street in Marlin.
Marak Picnic
The annual Marak Homecoming Picnic will be held Sept. 10 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Marak. Mass at 10:15 a.m. Serving begins at 11 a.m. with fried chicken and sausage with all the trimmings for $15 each. Dine in or drive thru. Serving while the food lasts. Entertainment by Praha Brothers from noon to 3 p.m. Games begin at 11:30 a.m. Live auction at 2:30 inside the hall.
GERMAN MEAL

Join us to visit the Creation Evidence Museum and to see The Promise in Glen Rose, the award-winning musical production about the life of Jesus, under the stars at the Texas Amphitheater. Caritas of Waco Inc. will be in Marlin every first and third Monday of the month as part of their Veterans Case Management Program: Assistance For Veterans/Outreach.
