Burns wedding anniversary celebration

Fifty years of loving, caring and sharing…. Norma and Ellison Burns of Baileyville, Texas are celebrating 50 years of marriage this Saturday.

The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church in Waco, TX January 26, 1969. The wedding was officiated by Reverend Bob Young.

The maid of honor was Peggy Payne Lowrie and the best man was Charles Ellison. The wedding party included: bridesmaids Lahonna Lee Bridges, Suzy Burns Reed, and Nancy Stewart; groomsman Johnny Walker, James Hailey and John McBee; junior bridesmaid Linda Lawson Marshall; junior groomsman Lawrence “Bud” Lawson; ring bearer David Hailey; flower girl Jane Ellison Kasner.
