City makes changes to animal control ordinances

Changes were made to the City of Rosebud Animal Control Ordinance Sec 2. during the City Council meeting on Jan 21.

The ordinances on Fees, Identification for Animals, and Redemption of Impounded Animals were revised.

Section 2.01.009 Fees was added to. Owner reclaim fees are now $20 initial plus a $10 per day fee thereafter. Adoption fees are now a standard amount of $20, with the exception of individuals showing proof they are affiliated with a Rescue/ Adoption organization.

Section 2.02.001 Identification for animals now has a stipulation that all animals must be chipped with proof submitted to the City of Rosebud. An additional addendum was made...
