City partners with food bank to offer free summer meals for kids

The city of Lott is partnering with the Central Texas Food bank to hand out free summer meals for local children. The most recent meal distribution was held on July 14. During the last distribution in June, 126 meals were given out though totals for the July 14 event were not immediately available. The next distribution is scheduled for July 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at City Pavilion. Any child can come and get a box with or without parents present. Any parent can get a box if they supply a report card or any kind of ID showing you have a child.
