City of Rosebud council election set for November

The City of Rosebud will conduct an election on Nov. 3 for several places on the city council.

Positions up for election are a two-year term for mayor, currently held by Roy L. Spivey; two-year term for Ward 1 Position 1 Alderman, currently held by Anthony Vasquez; one-year term for Ward 1 Position 2 Alderman, currently held by Randolph Burton; two-year term for Ward 2 Position 2, currently held by Isabel McBee; two-year term for Ward 3 Position 1, currently held by Debra Kimble.

The election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.  

Application for a place on the ballot will be accepted at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. beginning July 20, 2020, until the deadline date of Aug. 17, 2020. Declaration of Write-In Candidacy will be accepted at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. beginning July 20, 2020, until the deadline date of Aug. 21, 2020.
