Cougar Pizza Station Now Open

Rosebud’s newest eatery, Cougar Pizza Station, welcomed more than 50 people to its ribbon-cutting and Grand Opening on Wednesday, March 3, and has since received a steady stream of business.

The Rosebud Chamber orchestrated a raffle for grand opening attendees, and three lucky winners won Cougar Pizza Station gift certificates.

The menu features classic, traditional pizzas as well as a handful of specialty pizzas like the Cougar Special (BBQ sauce, tender pulled pork, street corn, and jalapenos, plus crispy fried onions, spicy cheeses, and a drizzle of hot honey) and the CBR Touchdown (sweet BBQ sauce, blend of spicy cheeses, grilled chicken, crispy bacon and a drizzle of homemade ranch). Salads, wings, and other sides are also available.

Located at 205 N. 5th Street in Rosebud, the building has history, having served as a diner, a tire shop, a gas station, and more over the years. The cozy space includes a couple of bartop seating areas, tables and chairs, and a covered outdoor patio with picnic tables, cornhole, and other games set up for guests.

Their hours are set for 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday each week, but owners Monica and Eric Gingerich ask that guests check the Facebook page (Cougar Pizza Station) for updates. In four days of business, they’ve experienced sold-out items and delays while waiting for supply restock, but their gratitude and adaptability under pressure are serving them well.
