Courthouse Renovations

Work continues as the county renovates its old “Art Deco” courthouse. The project will restore the building to near-original, 1939 condition. In 2018, Falls County received a grant from the Texas State Historical Commission for repairs and a cleanup in the amount of $5.8 million. The county added $1 million for the project. The top-to-bottom fix-up will correct problems that have lingered for years. The project began in November and will take between 18 and 24 months to complete.
