Donation will help with RISD athletic fields

A major donation will assist Rosebud-Lott ISD athletics.

Rosebud-Lott ISD received a $20,000 donation from Houston-based energy company EDP Renewables North America. 

The money will fund foul poles for the high school baseball and softball fields. 

EDP Renewables is currently working to construct the Cattlemen 1 Solar Park in Milam County and not far from Rosebud-Lott ISD. 

Company officials said local community members identified a need and EDP was proud to step up to the plate to provide the necessary equipment.
