Falls County 4-H upcoming deadlines

The Falls County 4-H Texas A&M AgriLife Extension has multiple deadlines approaching for various events.

Entries for the Falls County Youth Fair are due by July 10 by 4 p.m. at the Agrilife Extension office in Marlin. All forms must be filled out. Entries must have two separate checks from the membership to the Youth Fair and for entries. Checks should be made out to the Falls County Youth Fair.

The Falls County Summer Showdown Goat and Lamb Show will be held on July 19. Gates open at 5 a.m. and the show starts at 9 a.m. Register at the show.

Entry fee is $40. There will be three divisions in the Goat Showmanship. Does are welcome in the Market Show. The Lamb Showmanship will have a five breed format. Ewes are welcome in the Market Show. Prizes will be banners and buckles.

There will be a show trailer and a food struck on site.

The Falls County 4-H Banquet Pool Party is coming up on August 3; however, organizers need a head count for the party before then.

Reservations for the pool party must be completed by July 25 otherwise attendees will be charged for the meal. The lunch and swim costs

$10 per person. The event will be held at Camp Fimfo at 1000 Chickadee Lane in Waco from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. For more information call
