Falls County Commissioners Approve ESD 2 Board Member Resignation, Appoint New Member

The Falls County Commissioners Court met on March 9, 2026, Judge Jay Elliott presiding. Commissioners present were Milton Albright (Pct. 1), F. A. Green (Pct. 2), Jason Willberg (Pct. 3) and Nita Wuebker (Pct. 4). ADA Steve Sharp was in attendance Minutes were approved from the February 23, 2026 meeting. In other matters, Commissioners approved (1) payment of the Centex RC & D annual membership dues (2) quote (minus taxes) for computer monitors for the Auditor and Treasurer’s Department (3) purchase of handheld thermal for the Sheriff’s Office and (4) new computer for the Sheriff’s Office medical department. Commissioners also approved King’s Pump Service to install a complete well pumping system at the Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

Pending a written letter of resignation from the ESD #2 Board, Commissioner Wuebker moved to accept the resignation of Board Member David Wolff and appointment of Commissioner Kevin Adrian. Seconded by Commissioner Willberg, the motion carried. Regarding modernizing the courthouse elevator, Commissioners approved to pursue proposals. Concerning the Grand Prix Pipeline, the Commissioners moved to approve the application to accept road cuts for thirteen county roads in Pct. 3 & 4.

Commissioners approved an addendum to a previously approved road use agreement between Falls County and Milam County DC, (Project Entity) that “Project Entity agrees to maintain the roads references in Section 5 for as long as there is an operating data center on its property, not to exceed 30 years.”

The agreement with the Orms Family Medicine, MD PA for inmates was discussed and approved. Health care services will be provided by Orms to provide for the delivery of all medical, dental and mental health services to inmates of the jail or arrange for the appropriate care as Orms deems necessary. An $8,123 invoice was submitted for funding of a one-time set-up fee for James Orms, MD PA based on the current Falls County Jail Health Services Agreement.

Jeff Jackson, Road & Bridge Administrator, presented updates on loader and new grader. The Interlocal with the City of Marlin is progressing.

Commissioners approved the payment of all bills, budget amendments, and payroll. The next Commissioners’ meeting is Monday, March 23 at 9 am. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
