Falls County Felony Docket - October 29, 2020

On October 29, 2020, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following Felony cases were disposed of:  

1st Degree Felony (5 to 99 years or life, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Joshua Kyle Gwyn, 39, from Rockdale, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine four grams or more but less than 200 grams, he was sentenced to 8 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 8 years probation. he was assessed a $2,500.00 fine. Gwyn was arrested on February 28, 2020, by Lott Police Department. 

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Kyle James Rochell, 38, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine less than one gram, he was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 Fine, 120 community service, and 180 restitution. Rochell was arrested on June 27, 2019, by Lott Police Department.  

Laderious Lamar Wright,20, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine less than one gram, he was sentenced to 20 months confinement in a State Jail Facility. He was assessed a $500.00 fine.  Wright was arrested on March 6, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
