Falls County Sheriff’s Office makes arrests

Falls County deputies made two arrests over the weekend.

Deputies in Falls County were on patrol in Rosebud when a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle. 

According to the Falls County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy quickly observed signs that the driver, Cierra Carothers of Rosebud, was intoxicated. The deputy also observed that Carothers had her less than one-year-old child in the vehicle with her. 

The deputy conducted a roadside investigation and determined Carothers was intoxicated. Carothers was arrested and charged with DWI with a passenger less than 15, a state jail felony.

A short time later another deputy conducted a second traffic stop in the Lott area. 

During this stop the deputy with the assistance of Lott Police found the driver, Jennifer Daley of Waco, to be in possession of methamphetamines, alprazolam (commonly referred to as Xanax), and marijuana. 

Daley was arrested and charged with felony possession and several other misdemeanors.
