FFA members attend Area Convention

On Saturday, May 8, lots of memories were made and fun was had by several members of the Rosebud-Lott FFA who traveled to the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center in Temple.

These members attended the Area XII FFA Convention where they accepted several awards for our member’s achievements in Career Development Events this year. They also served as voting delegates and voted on our 2021-2022 Area XII officer team and talent team to represent the Area XII FFA Association at State Convention this summer in Fort Worth, Texas.

- Fourth place Area XII Meats team - Rolando Leon, Gustavo Loera

- Third place Area XII Livestock Judging team - Colby Coker, Dalan Willberg, Regan Willberg, Delaney Wilde

- Second place high point individual Colby Coker

- Fourth place Area XII Ag Sales team - Journey Scott, Nikolas Caproni, Jacqueline Salazar, and Jason Goeke

- Fifth place high point individual - Nikolas Caproni

- Eighth place high point individual - Journey Scott

Voting delegates were Erin Pomykal, Belle Rodriguez, Sydney Parcus, Kiara Walker, Jason Goeke, Rolando Leon, Chloe Pickens, and Amarycuss Lockridge and attending member, Timothy Krueger.
