Free Trash Day set for Dec. 4 at two locations

Falls County will hold a Free Trash Day and Tire Disposal on Dec. 4.

There will be two locations, one in Marlin and one in Lott. Tractor tires will only be accepted at the Lott location.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or until the dumpsters are full.

The Marlin location will be at the Falls County Jail site, 2847 Hwy 6. The Lott location will be at the Waste Collection Station, 330 S. Hwy 77.

Funding is provided by Central Texas Resource Conservation & Development.  

Items collected will be batteries, appliances and brush (no larger than 3” in diameter), No chemicals, no hazardous waste, and no roofing materials.
