Heritage House to give away groceries to one lucky employee.

Employees at Heritage House will be entered for the chance to win a 3-minute shopping spree at Brookshire Brothers.

Rosebud, Texas, 03/08/2021- Heritage House launches their first ever “Grocery Giveaway” allowing one facility employee to win a fully paid, three minutes long shopping spree at Brookshire Brothers.

“We’re hosting this contest for two reasons,” said Darla Matthys, LNFA, administrator at Heritage House “First, we want our staff to know how much we appreciate them. We want our facility to be a fun place where people enjoy showing up to work.”

“And second,” continued Matthys “we want to recruit new, top tier staff to care for our residents.”

Eligible employees will be entered into a drawing each week. At the end of 4 weeks, the facility will announce the winner on a Facebook live event.

The winning employee will then arrive at Brookshire on 03/08/2021 to claim their prize. They’ll have the 3 minutes to dash through the store filling their carts with as many groceries as they can.

At the end of the 3 minutes, the contest winner will bring all filled carts to the register, and a corporate leader will pay the total in full.

There is no limit to price, number of items, or even to the number of carts that the winner can use during their 3 minutes. The contest only restricts the type of items that can be purchased, specifically the contest will not cover paper items, cleaning products, or alcohol. All meats, frozen food, and canned food will be paid for.

Employees qualify to be entered in two ways. Newly hired employees will automatically receive 10 entries. Current staff are entered each week that they work at least 30 hours and meet all other contest requirements

“We were excited that Brookshire agreed to host the spree,” Matthys explained. “It’s important for us to support our community.”

“Every single one of our staff are heroes. Of course, we’re grateful for our nurses and nurse aides. Their efforts keep our residents healthy and safe, every single day. But we know that it’s not just the direct care staff who serve in heroic ways. Housekeeping protects our residents by cleaning and sanitizing. Kitchen staff provide healthy nutritious meals. This contest is a way to show all of our employees, in every department how thankful we are for everything that they do.”
