July 18

On July 18 the Marlin Police Department arrested and charged Asmenne Flowers with Public Intoxication.

Shortly after arriving in the Falls County Jail, Flowers assaulted two of the jail staff during the book in process. In addition to the Marlin charge, deputies charged Flowers with two counts of Assault on Public Servant, a Third Degree Felony and one on Terroristic Threat Public Servant, a Class A misdemeanor. Flowers combined bond totaled $20,000 and has since bonded out.

 

July 17

On July 17 Falls County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Live Oak in Marlin. 

Upon contacting the driver deputies observed multiple signs of impairment. A roadside investigation determined Robert Rolston of Marlin to be under the influence of alcohol as well as other substances.

Inside the vehicle was the drivers son who was under the age of 15 unsecured in the vehicle. 

Rolston was arrested and charged with DWI with Passenger<15, Endangering a child, and Possession of Marijuana. 

 

July 14

While patroling the Rosebud area, Falls County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling through the Rosebud city limits on Highway 77. 

During the course of the traffic stop deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. While searching the vehicles deputies located a fictitious Texas driver’s license belonging to a passenger, Piper Johnston, in the vehicle. There were also several open containers of alcohol located inside the vehicle. Johnston was placed under arrest and charged for possessing a fictitious driver’s license, a class A misdemeanor.
