Lions announce poster art winners

On September 15, 2016, the Rosebud-Lott Area Lion’s Club hosted an awards banquet to recognize all the kids who completed a poster for this year’s “Peace Poster Contest”, at the D Brown Library in Rosebud. This years theme was “A Celebration of Peace”. The Lions Club International encourage all member clubs to host a Peace Poster Contest each year, the Contest encourages children, ages 11-13, to creatively express what peace means to them. This year’s contest was a part of the arts program offered during the summer at the D Brown. We were lucky to have Anita Bishop who organized the D Brown Library’s summer programs. She encouraged as many children as she could to complete a poster for the contest.
