Macy named Falls County Fair Queen
On Sept. 9 at the Falls County Fairgrounds, the 3rd Annual Falls County Queen Contest was held.
The contestants were:
- Addison Wilde, the daughter of Wesley and Callie Wilde. She is a sophomore at Rosebud-Lott High school and representing Westphalia 4-H.
- Addison Yezak is the daughter of Justin and Courtney Yezak. She is sophomore at Bremond High School and representing Westphalia 4-H.
- Lauren Macy is the daughter of Kristy Macy. She is senior at Marlin High School and representing Rocky Hill 4-H.
Queen Contestants were required to sell Raffle Tickets, Sponsorships, write an Essay, and interview with the judges. Also taken into consideration is involvement in FCYF, extracurricular activities, creativity on their sponsorship boards and points for personal photos. Sponsorship boards will be on display in the FCYF Pavilion during the Fair and Sale.
Congratulations to Lauren Macy from Rocky Hill 4-H for being crowned the 2023 FCYF Queen.
Lauren Macy received the Queen $1,500 Scholarship, Queen buckle, High Sponsorship Seller Buckle.
Addison Yezak was first runner up and wone a $1,000 Scholarship, High Ticket Seller Buckle.
Addison Wilde was second runner up adn won a $450 Scholarship.
In addition to the scholarships and buckles, each girl received a gift bag full of great items like a Jewelry Box and necklace donated by KC on the Range, Tshirt, Embroidered cap, Ulta and Starbucks Gift Cards, Sol De Janero gift set, and more.
