MCC hosting COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Aug. 25

McLennan Community College, in partnership with the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District, will host a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Aug. 25 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Student Commons of the Michaelis Academic Center on the MCC campus. Moderna vaccines will be administered, and a second-dose clinic will be held at a later date. 

The primary and best defense against COVID-19 is vaccination. Although not required, students and employees that have not yet been vaccinated are encouraged to take this important step in protecting themselves, their families, and the community’s health.

Community members are also welcome to receive the vaccine during the clinic. Walk-ins are welcome; however, pre-registration is encouraged. Follow the steps below to pre-register:

• Visit covidwaco.com.

•  Click the red Vaccine Registration button.

• Read the instructions and click the Click to Proceed With Screen bar.

• Complete the questionnaire and click the Click to Proceed With Screen bar.

• Input the date of the clinic: 08-25-2021.

• Select McLennan Community College in the Location drop down box and click submit.

• Once you have submitted the request, you will receive an email with “Inoculate: Registration Completed” in the subject line.
