Julie Bowers, executive director of nonprofit projects at Workin’ Bridges, was in Rosebud this week preparing to get started on the Hope Memorial Bridge restoration.
The first step in crossing this bridge will be to lift it out of the ground. Blocks have been ordered this week to do just that.
According to Bowers, it will take workers about a week to get the bridge out of the dirt. “Once it comes out of the dirt, it should bounce right back into place,” she explains.
