Partial closure of are courts annouced

It has been announced that there will be a partial closure of the Lott Municipal Court, the Rosebud Court of Record, and the Mount Calm Municipal Court.

Rosebud Municipal Court Clerk Melissa Wolmoth announced the closures.

“Based on a request by the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), I have ordered all "in person" dockets reset until after April 25,” an announcement said. “ This includes initial appearances, show cause, pre-trial, bench trials, and jury trials.”

The clerk’s office will remain open during normal city hall business hours and will continue to process motions, pleas, and other filings. Email, mail, and fax communications will still be processed.

The court is in consultation with the Department of State Health Services and the Office of Court Administration.
