Re-dedication of Falls County Courthouse set for Saturday

Falls County will hold a Re-dedication Ceremony of the Historic County Courthouse on Oct. 16 at 11 a.m.
The First Lady of Texas Cecelia Abbott will be keynote speaker. The ceremony will be in the 82nd District Courtroom and there will be an open house for viewing the courthouse renovations.
Falls County elected officials and employees invite everyone for the official re-opening of the 1939 historic courthouse.
For the last 21 months, the Courthouse underwent a complete renovation project through a Texas Historical Commission Courthouse restoration program. Through this $6.9 million project the county was able to preserve a piece Texas History.
