RLISD students shelter in place Friday

Students had to shelter-in-place Friday, May 6, at Rosebud-Lott ISD in Travis after a shooting was reported near the school.
Rosebud-Lott ISD said the order was enacted for several hours Friday morning after a shooting occurred near the high school.
A man is alleged to have shot his pregnant girlfriend. The woman had to be airlifted from the scene. The incident did not occur on school grounds and there was never a threat to students or staff.
