Robert D. Healing MD Named Marlin Clinic Physician, Emergency Room Director

Falls Community Hospital & Clinic is pleased to announce Robert D. Healing MD has joined the hospital staff and will be accepting new patients at the Marlin Rural Health Clinic beginning May 11, 2020.
Dr. Healing will bring his 39 years of experience in a wide range of medical specialties, including Family Practice, Pediatrics, ER & Urgent Care, and Psychiatry to Falls County. In addition to seeing patients at the Marlin Clinic, he has also been named ER Director and will work in the ER each month. 

He was born in upstate New York and attended medical school at the Universidad La Salle in Mexico City, Mexico. He completed his residency at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago, IL and went on to finish his internship at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. 

After arriving in Texas, he practiced medicine all over the state -- from Daingerfield and Nacogdoches, to Kerrville, San Antonio and Houston and all parts in between.  Most recently, he worked at the State Supported Living Center in Mexia, TX. As an added bonus, Healing speaks fluent Spanish having attended medical school in Mexico.
