Rosebud Chamber Launches Annual Membership Drive, Announces 2026 Events

The Rosebud Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture has launched its annual membership drive and announced several community events planned throughout 2026 for residents and businesses in Rosebud and surrounding Falls County area.

The membership drive will run from February through April as the chamber works to grow participation and encourage community involvement. Annual membership is $50 for businesses and $25 for individuals, and chamber officials noted that anyone may join, even if they do not own a business.

The organization hosts a number of events each year aimed at supporting local businesses and bringing the community together.

Upcoming events scheduled for the year include the chamber’s annual banquet April 23 at St. Ann’s Center. Social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a live auction.

This year’s banquet theme is “Murder Mystery Masquerade.” Members of the Rosebud-Lott Cougar Theatre will provide entertainment during the event, presenting a mystery-themed evening where guests help uncover clues and solve a fictional crime. Attendees are encouraged to wear formal attire and masks to match the masquerade theme.

Tickets, including individual seats or tables of 10, are available at the D. Brown Library. Additional information is available by contacting Kelly Hughes at (254) 583-2328 or by emailing rosebudchamber@ gmail.com Other events planned for 2026 include the Smokin’ Rumble BBQ Cook-Off scheduled for July 3-4, Halloween on Main Street on Oct. 31, the annual 100+ Garage Sales event on Nov. 7, and the Christmas Parade on Dec. 4.

As part of the membership drive, the chamber will also hold elections for new director positions. Current continuing directors include Jamie Johns, vice president; Saul Resendis, secretary; and general directors Joe Ambriez III and Candace Moreno. Three board seats are open this year, with Gloria Salinas-Garcia, Kelly Hughes and Tiffani Murray seeking re-election. Write-in candidates are also allowed.

Ballots should be returned along with membership renewals.

Chamber officials said they are also seeking volunteers, new members and fresh ideas to help strengthen the Rosebud community.

The chamber noted that the Jr. Chamber of Commerce will not host its traditional 50/50 scholarship raffle this year because members will instead participate as part of the banquet entertainment.
