Rosebud Interim City Manager named

Kenneth Ray Murray was named as Rosebud’s Interim City Administrator earlier this month and began in his new position on April 2. 

The Rosebud advocate has spent his first few weeks in office scoping out the specifics of his duties and has put an emphasis on continuing to improve roads.

“I’ve been riding around, just checking out what still needs to be done,” he told the Rosebud News. “Won’t know what to fix if I don’t look for myself.”

The City of Rosebud was left without a City Administrator in past weeks as Keith Whitfield, previous City Administrator, submitted a letter of resignation. He is now the City Manager of Daingerfield.
