Rosebud man killed in accident

A Rosebud man was killed in an accident on Highway 77 early Friday morning, Nov. 27.
Danny Perez, 21, of Rosebud, died when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and rolled over. He was not wearing his seatbelt. Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said the single-vehicle wreck happened north of Cameron on at 4:34 a.m. on Friday morning.
Perez was driving a 2013 Dodge Avenger while traveling north on U.S. 77 when he failed to drive in a single lane, and left the roadway on the east side of US 77. The Dodge struck a private driveway and vaulted. The Dodge rolled over multiple times ejecting Perez.
Perez was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Gary Northcott.
