Rosebud VFD teams up with Red Cross

Sound the Alarm & Save a life program has documented over 520 lives saved to date.

This program is designed to educate and install FREE  smoke alarms for our  residential housing  units/families within the City Limits of Rosebud.

American Red Cross and Rosebud VFD members are teaming up and attempting to reach out to all citizens in Rosebud on May 4th. There is no catch, there is no fee, there is no commitment. Only requirement is to be home, allow us to come into your house and install these detectors. If you have existing smoke alarms installed, we will even test those and replace the 9-volt batteries if needed. These smoke alarms that we are installing are 10-year smoke detectors. After 10-years you can remove them and replace with newer smoke alarms. Again, there is no fee, no monthly charge, there is no monitoring.  This program is only being offered to help save a life in the event of a fire.
