Rosebud Woman found selling pharmaceuticals

Rosebud, Texas (May 11, 2020) - A search warrant was served on the 100 block of Loop 265 on Tuesday, May 5.

The Falls County Sheriff’s Office was following up on a surveillance operation headed by Chief Deputy Derick Johnson, who worked the case diligently until a warrant was issued. 

“He’d gotten information on some illegal sale of some drugs,” said Falls County Sheriff Ricky Scaman.

Around 3:30 p.m., Deputies executed the arrest warrant at unit 6 of the Cougarland Apartments. Rhonda Gail Alexander, 41, of Rosebud, was found with a number of illegal substances in her possession, as seen above.

Alexander is charged with possession of marijuana less than two ounces, possession of a penalty group(PG) 3 controlled substance (xanax) less than 28 grams, possession of a PG2 controlled substance (ecstasy) between four and 400 grams, and possession of a PG1 controlled substance (cocaine.) 

Alexander was taken to the Falls County Jail and has since been released on bond.
