Row Crop Tour planned for June 19 in Westphalia

The Falls County Blackland Row Crop Tour is set for Monday, June 19.

The program will begin at 7 a.m. 

The first stop is Gary and David Herzog’s corn plot at CR 383 and CR 379 in Westphalia. The second stop will be Larry Hoelscher’s sorghum test plot in Westphalia. The third stop will be at Westphalia Cafeteria for the speakers and lunch.

Breakfast will be provided by Capital Farm Credit.

Three CEU’s will be offered and CCA’s

Speakers will be Dr. Jason Johnson, Extension Economist speaking on the market update and outlook; Jake Mowrer, Agronomics Nitrogen Management; Tyler Mays, IPM Update; Brandi Kelm, American Plant Food Co. and Texas Department of Agriculture Update.
